OVERVIEW
The Logic Innovations Content Management System (CMS) performs content ingestion, categorization, preview, transcoding, scheduling, and reliable IP multicast delivery of multimedia content. It also generates and delivers electronic program guide and video-on-demand metadata, as well as icons and branding images for on-screen display.

DESCRIPTION
The CMS is powerful and flexible, providing options for:
- Creating and editing channels
- Setting up categories and genres for programs
- Broadcasting live and pushed content to TV or client (e.g., remote PC or Mac)
- Broadcasting on-demand programs to TV or client
- Rebroadcasting programs recorded on the receiver
- Datacasting (delivering non-VOD or non-EPG supported file types such as PDF for direct access by a remote client)
- Setting up a barker channel
- Delievering updated individual components to the receiver using the "Hotfolder"
The interface is operator-customizable with tear-off and repositioning of all GUI components. It includes wizard-based creation of schedules, VOD content, OSD elements, and programs. |
