Logic Innovations' ECR receives IP datacasts and routes the data to a LAN as well as provides innovative gateway functions that facilitate network security and ease of use. Different versions of the ECR are available for ATSC, DVB-S and DVB-T networks. The ECR also helps users identify and correct common network connectivity issues with its troubleshooting toolset. Combining the receiver, router, and broadband gateway modules in one unit sets the ECR apart from similar products and eliminates the need for additional equipment. The ECR has an open platform design which allows hosting of third-party software modules such as multicast client software.
